Planning your next trip to Palace? Here’s what to expect.
Our top priority is to ensure that our team and our customers can have a safe shopping experience as we all navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together. The situation is dynamic and so is this resource. We will keep this page up to date with the latest information regarding our response to the crisis and how each of the stores is operating as a result.
The Capitola & Santa Cruz Stores have both reopened with limited shopping hours.
Tuesday – Sunday
10:30am – 5:30pm
We have established the following protocols in order to allow for an indoor shopping experience under Phase 2.5 of the California Reopening Plan. Thank you for following these guidelines and shopping with us safely!
Please wear a face covering at all times when in line and inside the store. For information about what qualifies as a face covering, please see these guidelines provided by the Santa Cruz County Health Services Agency.
Shop with Intention
We ask that everyone please limit their shopping trips to 20 minutes or less so that we can reduce wait times and exposure for everyone. Bring a list and please try to only touch what you plan to purchase.
Practice Social Distancing
Please maintain a minimum of six feet of social distance between you, other shoppers, and Palace employees while you shop and wait in line to enter the store.
No Public Restrooms
Our restrooms are currently closed to customers. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please Stay Home with Symptoms
Please avoid coming into Palace if you are experiencing a cough, fever, or other symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19. Don’t worry, we’ll be here when you are feeling better!
Leave Your Bags at Home
For the time being, please do not bring any reusable bags inside the store. We will gladly provide you with a bag at checkout for no cost.
